◎Starting(開場)

1.Greeting(歡迎您的聽眾,要有自信,身體不要隨意晃動)

Formal~~Good morning/ afternoon/ evening, ladies and gentlemen.

Informal~~Hello/ Hi,everyone.


2.Name and position(依演說型態告知聽眾您的職稱)

Formal~~Let me just start by introducing myself. My name is.....

Informal~~I'm ...(name)


3.Title/ subject(?述主題)

The title/ subject/ topic of today's presentation/ talk is....

Today, I'd like to speak about....

What I'd like to talk about is....


4.Length of presentation(告知您的聽眾,您的演講需時多久,這對西方人是很重要的一點,並和我們的國情不同,作英文演講時,最好告知時間長度)

The presentation will take about .... minutes.

I will speak for about .... minutes.

I plan to be brief. About .... minutes.


5.Questions(讓聽眾知道何時可以發問)

If you have any questions, please feel free to interrupt.

I'd be glad to take any questions at the end of my presentation.


6.Audience(要與聽眾聯結,因此要說些讚美或鼓勵的言語)

I know that you have all traveled a long way.

I'm very grateful that you could come today.

It's nice to see so many faces.

I look forward to your comments on this.

以上是開場,您可以依您個人的需求取捨


◎Closing a presentation(結束用語)

結束時不需要長篇大論,通常都是以 ~~So, in conclusion,..........作為告知聽眾演講已近尾聲的訊息,而演講結束後,只需要說 Thank you very much. 聽眾即知您的演說已結束.(不要只說Thank you. 因為句子太短,讓人有點措手不及)
